Anastasiia who led the team together with Dr Umer Zeeshan Ijaz and Dr Thomas Otto from the College of Medical, Veterinary & Life Science – University of Glasgow,  was successful in pitching her research idea in a recently conducted MVLS/CoSE Engineering Biology Workshop where she was able to secure up to £10K towards her project among a field of 6 competing teams.
