​​The fourth plenary meeting of the EPSRC Programme Grant on Off-grid Water Technologies was held on the 21st February 2023.  The event was held as a hybrid meeting, with some attending in-person at the Advanced Research Centre, University of Glasgow and others joining online via Zoom.    

​ ​The agenda included a welcome from our Principal Investigator, Professor Bill Sloan and an update on the progress made with the work package focussing on wastewater systems. 

​ ​Professor Sloan led a participatory discussion on how we implement change in water technologies at local and global scales. 

​We received an inspiring presentation from Professor Miguel R. Peña Varón of the Universidad del Valle Cali, Colombia. His team’s work in alliances between communities and academia for integrated water resources management was enthusiastically received by all in attendance.
