Dr Baptiste Poursat was awarded an IAA led by RA grant of £20,000, in collaboration with Scottish Water and SepSolve Analytical.
The project is entitled “Translating volatilome-based biomarkers from biomedical disease detection to environmental biotechnology system monitoring” and aims to develop a new volatile organic compounds (VOCs) based analytical method to detect early warning indicator of failures in anaerobic digester.
Dr Baptiste Poursat will also work in collaboration with Dr Caroline Gauchotte-Lindsay on this project and use Glaudry’s septic tank with Dr Tania Gomez Borraz.
This project will run for one year.
