Dr. Elizabeth Lawson awarded Scottish Parliament Academic Fellowship Award (SPICe)

,

Congratulations to Dr Elizabeth Lawson who has been awarded a Scottish Parliament Academic Fellowship, managed and hosted by the Scottish Parliament Information Centre (SPICe).

The aim of the scheme is to:

  • provide the Scottish Parliament with specialised resources, allowing it to undertake and communicate analysis which would otherwise not be possible
  • increase use of academic knowledge, skills and research within the Scottish Parliament
  • promote knowledge and understanding of the Scottish Parliament within the academic sector.

Elizabeth’s project, which will start in September 2024, aims to investigate how water, wastewater and drainage policy can be better integrated with existing national strategies and wider rural policy to address water related challenges faced by communities across rural and island Scotland.
