During the conference, Dr. Fabien Cholet presented a talk titled “Biofiltration for Decentralised Communities,” showcasing results from the decentralised water project.

Additionally, Prof. Cindy Smith and Mr. Quinn also delivered presentations. Prof. Smith’s talk was titled “Microbes, Friends and Foe, in Drinking Water Treatment and Distribution,” while Mr Quinn’s presentation was “To Chlorinate or Not to Chlorinate?”.

The audience was primarily composed of Scottish Water employees (~80 people) and academic partners from the University of Sheffield.
