We are delighted to congratulate Dr Uzma Khan on her achievement at the 6th Annual EBNet Early Career Conference (ECR24), held from July 24th-26th, 2024!

The conference included parallel sessions, poster talks, a site visit and was attended by approximately 100 delegates.

Dr Uzma presented her poster, “Modelling Biofilter Performance Using Machine Learning: The Merits of Buckingham Pi Dimension Reduction,” showcasing her innovative research in biofilter modelling. Uzma received  3rd place for Best Poster, as voted by attendees.

This well-deserved recognition highlights the strong interest in her research and its potential impact on biofilter performance and machine learning applications.
